The San Francisco 49ers have agreed to a one-year deal with linebacker Eric Kendricks, according to a source.

Kendricks, 32, is expected to try to replace Dre Greenlaw, who tore his Achilles during the Super Bowl.

Kendricks was released by the Los Angeles Chargers as a salary cap casualty March 5 after joining the team on a two-year, $13.25 million contract prior to the 2023 season.
