The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills 27-24 to reach the AFC Championship for the sixth straight season. Kansas City will play at the Baltimore Ravens with the chance to reach the Super Bowl for the fourth time in the Patrick Mahomes' era.

Isiah Pacheco scored the go-ahead touchdown on a 4-yard run 40 seconds into the fourth quarter in a game during which the teams traded leads five times. Travis Kelce scored a pair of touchdowns in a return to form game in what has been a subpar season by his standards.

The Bills had their third consecutive postseason end in the divisional round, following losses to Cincinnati last year and the Chiefs in 2021. And the Chiefs ended Buffalo’s season for the third time in four years, including a 38-24 decision at Kansas City in the AFC championship game in the 2020 season.
