The Green Bay Packers and Jordan Love have agreed to a one-year extension worth up to $22.5 million.
The agreement was reached just hours before Tuesday's fifth-year option deadline.
Love has just one career start as he's been the backup to Aaron Rodgers.
The fifth-year option for Love, the No. 26 overall pick, would have been $20.272 million fully guaranteed.
