The New England Patriots have released Antonio Brown.
The team said they are moving in a "different direction."
Brown played one game for the Patriots, catching four passes for 56 yards and a touchdown.
New England signed the wide receiver earlier this month.
Brown is dealing with a host of off-field issues. The Oakland Raiders released him earlier this month after acquiring him in a trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers this offseason.
