Ron Rivera, who interviewed for the top jobs in Arizona and Pittsburgh, reportedly is under consideration for both the head coach and defensive coordinator posts with the Dallas Cowboys. Rivera acknowledged Wednesday that in the Bears' run through the playoffs he may have coached himself out of consideration for recently filled head-coaching jobs. "It may have, but I'm not the first coach that's happened to," Rivera said. "You look at what (New England coordinators) Romeo Crennel and Charlie Weis and (Philadelphia coordinator) Brad Childress went through for a number of years. It's all part of it."
