Johnny Manziel is receiving interest from the Arena Football League.

"We could provide a strong platform for him to demonstrate that he is back," AFL commissioner Scott Butera told TMZ Sports. "We would also work with him and provide him whatever help he needed to live a healthy life."

The NFL suspended Manziel earlier this week for the first four games of the 2016 season because of a violation of the league's substance abuse policy.

Manziel remains a free agent after being released in March by the Cleveland Browns.
