The NFL has centered its head coaching hires this offseason upon candidates whose expertise is on the offensive side of the ball.

All seven head coaches are offensive-minded and only Mike Mularkey won't call plays for their team.

The last team to win a Super Bowl with their head coach doubling as offensive playcaller were the 2010 Green Bay Packers with Mike McCarthy. Sean Payton also called the plays for the 2009 winning New Orleans Saints. These are the only two of the past 12 Super Bowls to feature a head coach calling plays.
