By reworking his contract and adding an additional year to his deal with the New Orleans Saints, Jahri Evans is now scheduled to count $7 million against the cap instead of $11 million.

The guard received a $5.4 million signing bonus as part of the deal, according to a source. His three-year deal contains $9.5 million guaranteed.

In addition, newly-signed cornerback Kyle Wilson received the minimum salary benefit. He will make a base salary of $745,000 and receive a signing bonus of $80,000. His cap charge for 2015 will be $665,000.

The Saints are now listed as having $4,689,806 in cap space. They previously had $844,806 available before these moves.
