With the Seattle Seahawks blowing out the Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl two weeks after beating the San Francisco 49ers in an instant classic in the NFC Championship, Richard Sherman acknowledged was the biggest game of their title run.

“The NFC Championship was the Super Bowl," said Sherman. "The 49ers were the second-best team in the NFL.”

Sherman injured his ankle in the Super Bowl and was left on the field because the Seahawks wanted him to act as a deterrent to Peyton Manning.

“I looked sloppy out there,” said Sherman. “They only kept me out there by reputation.”
