The results of a CT scan show that Tony Romo's punctured lung has healed, according to a source.
Despite the good news, there is no guarantee that Romo will play on Monday night against the Redskins.
Romo still has a fractured rib, which he suffered along with the lung injury in a Week 2 victory over the 49ers.
"Tony certainly had his examination [Thursday] and everything is on go as we would hoped it would be and expected it to be relative to his lung status," Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said.
