The Rams lost running back Steven Jackson after a big first-quarter run against the Eagles on Sunday. He hurt his right leg during a seemingly easy 47-yard touchdown run on the first offensive play of the season for St. Louis. Jackson returned for one more carry before leaving the game for good. More troubling for the Rams is the injury Bradford suffered. The quarterback injured his right index finger when he struck the helmet of an Eagles defender in the fourth quarter. Bradford left a few plays after getting hurt because he could not grip the ball. X-rays were negative and coach Steve Spagnuolo said the team believed it was a nerve issue.
