Robert Mathis has denied a report that he will hold out for a new contract once the NFL's labor situation is settled.
Mathis, via his Twitter account, says he will be on the field when the lockout of the players ends.
He is a three-time Pro Bowl defensive end.
Mathis is due to make $2.41 million in the last year of his contract.
An unnamed source close to the situation told Sports Xchange: "He'll never play another snap there under that (existing) contract."
