Rams vice president of operations John Oswald has been dismissed after 28 years with the team. Oswald, who was informed of his termination Friday, joins the likes of other longtime team employees such as head equipment manager Todd Hewitt and athletic trainers Jim Anderson and Dake Walden to be fired in recent years by the current regime. "I've spent half my life with the organization, and I wouldn't change a thing," Oswald told the Post-Dispatch. "I was very fortunate. Georgia (Frontiere) was great to me; Stan (Kroenke) was great to me. I put my heart and soul into the job. But it's an eye-opening experience after 28 years to be told that 'we're going in a different direction.'"
