Aubrayo Franklin took exception to the insinuation from Mike Singletary that his decision to skip offseason workouts and training camp before signing his franchise-tag has played a part in San Francisco's 0-5 start. "I feel like I'm where I should be right now," Franklin said Wednesday. "I think I picked up where I left off last year. I don't think there's a drop-off." Ranked sixth last year, it sits 18th with 111.4 rushing yards allowed per game. "I think Aubrayo, sometimes when a guy doesn't go through training camp, it shows," Singletary said. "But he's continued to make progress. He'll get where he needs to go. He'll get where he needs to be, and we'll get there together."
