Coach Marvin Lewis has received his reward for taking the Cincinnati Bengals to the playoffs for the first time in 15 years. The team signed Lewis on Thursday to a two-year contract extension through 2010. Financial terms were not disclosed. ?My family and I are both flattered and thrilled by the support of (president) Mike Brown and the Bengals organization,? said Lewis, who had three years left on his contract before signing the extension. ?Our coaches are excited, but certainly not yet satisfied, about our team and the progress we?ve made to date.? The Bengals also announced on Friday that all of their assistants have been signed through 2007.
