The NFL's players may reject the possibility of a longer regular season. The league's owners discussed the possible change at meetings in March and May, but players have already said that extra pay better accompany a long schedule. "I wouldn't have a problem playing 18 games if they paid us," Cardinals defensive lineman Bryan Robinson said. "You hate to say it like that, but if you think about it, our owners are going to re-coup that money. That's not preseason money. That's regular-season cash." Some believe that a longer regular season will lead to more health issues. "The season is so long and it's so physically demanding with the size and speed of the game now," quarterback Kurt Warner said. "I think you're asking for trouble."
