Talks between the Cardinals and free agent quarterback Kurt Warner are expected to begin next week, according to Warner's agent. "I think we're going to start talking this week," Mark Bartelstein told Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic. "I want to talk to Kurt [Monday or Tuesday]. I think he wants to take a chance to take a deep breath. He really hasn't had a chance to do that."
