The New England Patriots comfortably beat the Tennessee Titans by a final score of 34-13 in Week 1.

The Patriots had a +19.7 advantage in the Trench Counter, the largest margin of Sunday's games. New England averaged 5.8 yards per play while having zero turnovers against two for Tennessee.

Tom Brady went 23-for-31 for 236 yards and two touchdowns, while Stevan Ridley gave the Patriots an effective ground game with 21 carries for 125 yards and one touchdown. New England only gained more than the 162 yards they had rushing on Sunday in one game last season. 

Both Aaron Hernandez and Rob Gronkowski caught a touchdown passes.

Jake Locker was 23-for-32 for 229 yards with one touchdown and one interception before injuring his shoulder. Chris Johnson rushed for just four yards on 11 carries, though he did have six receptions for 47 yards receiving.
