Thursday's game between the Raiders and Chargers will be shown in 3D in select theaters in Hollywood, New York City and Boston. Raiders' coach Tom Cable sounded less than impressed by the venture although coaches rarely pay attention to much outside of football during the season. "I'm not even sure what 3D means," Cable said, tongue-in-cheek. "Does it have something to do with blocking somebody? It's good for us to have this opportunity to play "... where everybody can watch. It gives us a chance to show everybody how much progress we've made." "We want to demonstrate this and let people get excited about it and see what the future holds," said Howard Katz, the NFL's senior vice president of broadcasting and media operations, in a news release.
