New York Jets' quarterback Chad Pennington may not have a torn rotator cuff, as originally diagnosed by team physicians during an MRI exam on Monday. This latest information gives the Jets a newfound hope that Pennington?s career may not be in jeopardy and that he might even be able to return this season. "I think the best thing [the Jets] can do," said one source, "is sit Chad and not let him back on the field until every party to this is convinced that his shoulder is 100 percent recovered. One-hundred percent recovered and one-hundred percent agreement that he is recovered. That should be the minimum standard now. Until then, he [rehabilitates] and he sits. That's how it ought to be."
