Washington Redskins Coach Joe Gibbs denied an ESPN report Sunday that he had been offered a two-year contract extension by owner Daniel Snyder. Gibbs has maintained that he will entertain no thoughts of his future or any contract until after the season. Gibbs, through team spokesman Chris Helein, said that he has had no conversations about an extension and has no plans to at this point. Gibbs and Snyder meet annually the week after the end of every season, when they chart the future for the organization and mull any staff changes. Gibbs has continued to say that he has every "intention" of returning for 2008, the fifth and final season of his $28.5 million contract.
