Wide receiver Early Doucet could have joined the all-out blitz on the NFL draft by LSU players in April. Instead, he's the senior statesman in the LSU passing attack on a team that appears to be in position to contend for a national championship. "We (LSU Coach Les Miles) talked, but I wasn't concerned about that," Doucet said at SEC media days Friday. "I knew from the get-go I was coming back to LSU for my senior season, so there weren't any thoughts about leaving early for the draft. "The main thing was to get a degree, and I love college football. I don't want to leave just yet. I have the opportunity to come back for another full season of playing in Tiger Stadium. You don't want to let go of those memories, those opportunities."
