Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to a five-year, $255 million extension, which includes $179.304 million in guaranteed money.

Hurts becomes the highest paid player in NFL history. Nicole Lynn of Klutch Sports negotiated the deal for Hurts.

As part of the deal, Hurts has a no-trade clause.

Hurts led the Eagles to a Super Bowl appearance last season and was a second-team All-Pro while finishing second in MVP voting behind Patrick Mahomes.
