New York Jets left tackle Duane Brown, 37, a five-time Pro Bowl selection who underwent recent surgery to repair a torn left rotator cuff, has decided to return for his 17th season, his agent Kennard McGuire told ESPN on Sunday.

Brown said at the end of the season that he'd take some time to consider his future, fueling retirement speculation. Coach Robert Saleh said he ran into Brown about a week ago in the weight room, perhaps tipping off his intentions.
