Google has agreed to distribute the NFL's "Sunday Ticket" package on YouTube TV on a seven-year deal worth more than $14 billion.

DirectTV has paid $1.5 billion per year on an eight-year contract that expires at the end of this season.

The NFL had been seeking $2.5 billion per season for the package. The league could reach that total since they retain commercial rights to bars and restaurants and are selling those separately.

Besides Amazon, Apple and ESPN also expressed interest in the "Sunday Ticket" package.
