The Chicago Bears have released Nick Foles after two seasons with the team. Foles started seven games in 2020 and just one in 2021 after the team drafted Justin Fields.

Foles, 33, was due a base salary of $4 million this season. The Bears will save $8 million against their salary cap with the move. 

A veteran of 10 seasons, Foles has thrown for 14,003 yards with 82 touchdowns and 43 interceptions.
