When asked whether Sam Darnold was his starting quarterback, new Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo gave an emphatic "yes."

Seconds later, McAdoo tempered his yes by adding that Matt Rhule has a say over the decision but that "the way it is in the building right now, Sam is our starting quarterback."

In addition to Darnold, the Panthers also have P.J. Walker and the sixth overall pick in the draft.
