Drew Brees has agreed to sign with NBC Sports as a television analyst after his playing career is over.

Brees also received interest from ESPN.

Brees will be groomed as the potential replacement for Cris Collinsworth. Brees will start as a game analyst for Notre Dame football and as a studio analyst for "Football Night in America."

“Like all NFL fans, we look forward to watching Drew continue his Hall of Fame career this fall, and we are confident his post-playing career will be just as successful,” NBC Sports spokesman Greg Hughes told The Post.

Mike Tirico will take over for Al Michaels after the 2022 Super Bowl.

NBC could possibly add a second NFL package, which would allow Brees and Collinsworth to both be No. 1s.

ESPN's offer was believed to be $6 million per year and the highest while NBC's offer was competitive.
