The Los Angeles Rams have agreed to trade Brandin Cooks and a 2022 fourth round pick to the Houston Texans for a 2020 second round pick.

Cooks has previously been traded by the New Orleans Saints to the New England Patriots and then to the Rams.

Cooks signed a five-year, $81 million contract extension before the 2018 season.

The Rams will incur $21.8 million in dead money by trading Cooks.

In two seasons with the Rams, Cooks caught 122 passes for 1,787 yards and seven touchdowns.
