The Los Angeles Rams increased Todd Gurley's workload on Thursday night against the Seattle Seahawks.

Gurley rushed 15 times for 51 yards and two touchdowns in the loss. He also caught three passes for 6 yards.

"We wanted to get him going," Sean McVay said. "He got some tough, hard-earned yards against a good defensive front. ... That opened up some things in the passing game."

He averaged 15 touches over L.A.'s first four games, including just 12 touches in Week 4.
