In a video chat on Instagram, Melvin Gordon told his followers he's "going to play somewhere" this season and that "it would be a waste of talent" if he did not.

Gordon continues to hold out because of a contract dispute with the Los Angeles Chargers.

The running back's representation asked for and was granted permission by the Chargers to pursue a trade, but so far no deal has materialized.

Gordon is scheduled to make $5.605 million in the final season of his rookie deal.
