Melvin Gordon is prepared to extend his holdout until late November when he would have to report to make sure his contract does not toll for this season in order to become an unrestricted free agent in 2020.

The Los Angeles Chargers pulled their offer to Gordon and won't discuss a new contract until after the season.

If Gordon were to hold out until the deadline, he would be back with the Chargers for their final five games of the season: at Denver, at Jacksonville, home vs. Minnesota, home vs. Oakland and at Kansas City.
