The NFL and NFLPA have held three meetings as they seek an agreement on a new collective bargaining agreement before the start of the 2019 season.

According to a source, "baby steps" have been made toward an agreement.

Another meeting is on the schedule for Wednesday of this week.

A team source believes there is a 50/50 chance a new deal will be struck by the Sept. 5 season opener between the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers.
