Adam Gase dismissed the possibility of the New York Jets trading Le'Veon Bell.

Gase was reportedly against the signing of Bell in free agency. Gase is now interim general manager following the firing of Mike Maccagnan.

“That’s ridiculous,” Gase said.

Gase emphasized that Bell is a “great person,” who has been in “constant contact” with him regarding Bell’s offseason training regimen.

“The contract was what it was,” Gase said. “Everybody can criticize contracts all you want. He’s here. I’m excited, the players are excited, the coaches are excited.”
