Russell Wilson and his agent Mark Rodgers say they won't sign a long-term contract with the Seattle Seahawks if it's not agreed to by the end of Monday, according to a source.

Wilson and Rodgers have informed John Schneider of their position.

Wilson could play year-to-year under the franchise tag or potentially be traded by the Seahawks. Wilson is under contract in 2019 at $17 million and could earn $30.3 million in 2020 and $36.4 million in 2021 before his franchise tag would skyrocket to $52.4 million for 2022.

Wilson is seeking a deal that would include devices to adjust based on a percentage of the cap, similar to the NBA.
