The NFL has lost seven of 17 referees over the past 13 months.

John Parry, who was the head referee for Super Bowl LIII, announced his retirement on Monday. Parry will join ESPN as an Officiating Analyst. 

Parry is the third referee to retire this offseason, joining Walt Coleman and Pete Morelli. 

Gene Steratore, Ed Hochuli, Jeff Triplette and Terry McAulay retired after the 2018 season.
