The New England Patriots were active last season in trying to trade for a wide receiver.

The Patriots even attempted to trade for Randall Cobb at one point in the season.

Cobb finished the 2018 season with 38 catches for 383 yards over nine games as he dealt with a hamstring injury.

"I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility to think that the Patriots will still be in the market for a top-flight receiver," wrote Jay Glazer about New England's plans this offseason.
