Corey Liuget will become a free agent after the Los Angeles Chargers decided not to exercise the 2019 option on the defensive tackle's contract.

Tom Telesco said it remains a possibility for Liuget to re-sign with the Chargers in free agency.

Selected No. 18 overall by the Chargers in the 2011 draft out of Illinois, Liuget was due to make $8 million in 2019, including a $4 million roster bonus due on the third day of the new league year in March.
