The Pro Football Hall of Fame's board of trustees has not imposed any type of attendance requirement on the men who became the 15 modern-era finalists for potential enshrinement, according to sources.

If secured enshrinement, an honoree could choose to not show up for any, some, or all of the Hall of Fame weekend activities in August.

The concept of commitments came about this past year when Terrell Owens opted not to show up for the event, instead holding his own separate acceptance speech in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
