According to a report, Josh McDaniels is "enthusiastically interested" in the Cleveland Browns' head coaching vacancy.

The Browns have used "back channels" to indicate interest in McDaniels, but they've yet to request an interview with the New England Patriots' offensive coordinator.

If Cleveland doesn't interview McDaniels during the Patriots' bye week, they'll have to wait until the team's playoff run ends.

McDaniels agreed to become the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts last year, but changed his mind and pulled out to return to the Patriots.
