Despite a 1-5 start and visibly poor play, the New York Giants will stick with Eli Manning as their starting quarterback.

Manning has six touchdown passes and six turnovers through six games.

"No. We believe in Eli," coach Pat Shurmur said Friday when asked about a potential change.

Alex Tanney has served as the backup the first six weeks, with rookie Kyle Lauletta inactive.

The Giants passed on a quarterback with the No. 2 overall pick, selecting Saquon Barkley.
