The Dallas Cowboys have released Dez Bryant.

Bryant is meeting with the Cowboys at their facility on Friday.

The Cowboys were expected to ask Bryant to take a pay cut.

Bryant has two seasons remaining on his current deal and will have a cap hit of $16.5 million. Bryant will have a dead cap hit of $8 million in 2018.

Bryant's production has dropped over the past few years as the Cowboys have become even more of a running team.
