The Kansas City Chiefs will sign Sammy Watkins to a three-year contract when free agency opens on Wednesday, according to a source.

Watkins, 24, is a former No. 4 overall pick.

The Los Angeles Rams acquired Watkins from the Buffalo Bills last August and he produced 39 catches for 593 yards and eight touchdowns.
