Bill Belichick said he "absolutely" plans on remaining as head coach of the New England Patriots in 2018. Belichick was responding to questions about an ESPN article published last week that he also claimed ot have not read.

ESPN's report said that "those interviewed describe a palpable sense in the building that this might be the last year together for this group."

Asked about the reported mandate on trading Jimmy Garoppolo, Belichick said on Monday, "I haven't read the article. I've already commented at length about that situation. Nothing has happened since then. So I don't have anything to add to it."

According to the piece, Belichick and Tom Brady have had a strained relationship this season.
