Geno Smith doesn't know why he won't be the starting quarterback for the New York Giants this weekend.

After firing Ben McAdoo and Jerry Reese, the Giants are going back to Eli Manning in Week 14.

Starting for the first time since 2014 this past Sunday, Smith completed 21-of-34 passes for 212 yards and a touchdown and also fumbled twice in a loss to the Oakland Raiders.

"Any competitor wouldn't be [happy] to be put in that situation where you get a chance to play and then you are being pulled." Smith said. "But it's not because you played bad. So it is, you are trying to figure out why. You have to understand things happen in this business and you got to roll with it."
