The NFL has suspended Mike Evans for one game for his blindside hit to Marshon Lattimore during Sunday's Tampa Bay Buccaneers-New Orleans Saints game.

Evans will appeal the suspension. The hit on Lattimore led to a scuffle between the two teams.

The wide receiver was flagged 15 yards for running across the field and drilling Lattimore in the back, then pouncing on Lattimore when he hit the ground. The incident started when Jameis Winston -- who was not playing at the time -- pushed Lattimore in the back of his helmet. Lattimore turned around and shoved Winston in the chest. Then Evans flew in for the tackle.
