The Dallas Cowboys will release Nolan Carroll, their biggest free agent signing of the 2017 offseason.

Carroll signed a three-year, $10 million deal with the Cowboys that included a $3 million signing bonus.

Carroll suffered a concussion during a Week 2 loss to the Denver Broncos and was out the following game, but he practiced the past two weeks.

There was no room for Carroll with the way rookie cornerback Jourdan Lewis has played.
