Todd Gurley is optimistic that next season will be better than the last for the Los Angeles Rams.

Gurley likes the offense under new head coach Sean McVay as well as the growth of Jared Goff.

"Oh, he's been getting better," Gurley said. "Obviously, he didn't go No. 1 for no reason. He has the talent, and he's just been getting better. He definitely had a great OTAs, great minicamp. Coaches have been doing a good job with him. Just his preparation, him being there all day, he's been great so far, man, so I'm definitely looking forward to it ... It can't get any worse than it did last year."

Gurley rushed for 1,106 yards and 10 touchdowns (4.8 YPC) as a rookie, but was limited to 885 yards and six scores (3.2 YPC) in 2016.
