The New York Jets don't have a front-runner as they continue to determine who will begin the season as their starting quarterback.

"It's a competition," Todd Bowles said.

Josh McCown, Christian Hackenberg and Bryce Petty all have an equal chance at the job currently.

The belief had been that it's McCown's job to lose, but Bowles attempted to put those rumors to bed.

"I don't look at anybody as the front-runner. I just wait until training camp comes and we'll sort it out then," Bowles said.
