Kyle Shanahan will not hire an offensive coordinator as head coach of the San Francisco 49ers.

The 49ers plan to hire Falcons offensive assistant Mike McDaniel as their “run-game guru” and Rich Scangarello as their quarterbacks coach.

The Cleveland Browns also are without an offensive coordinator as Hue Jackson serves as both head coach and playcaller.
